Ayşegül Sel Azdemir has graduated from Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Law in 2008 to become a member of the Istanbul Bar Association two years later. In 2010, she registered with the Istanbul Bar Association and became a member of the team at OKTAR & OKTAR. Azdemir is also a mediator specialising in labor law mediation and holds the title of sworn translator for English as well.

The protection of the intellectual and industrial property rights of both domestic and international clients and all related criminal cases constitute one of the main areas Azdemir is reponsible for. However, she is equally proficient in handling all types of applications before TURKPATENT and any follow-up litigation before Turkish courts.
Additionally, Azdemir provides legal support in contract management for sales and leasing, agency, franchising, licensing, distributor, consultancy, and service agreements. She also offers consultancy services for corporate law matters such as mergers and acquisitions, and establishment of corporations and their subsidiaries and branches on both national and international platforms.

Azdemir has full professional proficiency in English and elemantary proficiency in German.
